Hopefully you can see those pics.
I hadn't planned on doing any St. Patty's day partying. But we'll see what happens.
Hope the move went well!
Those squats are killing me though, haha.
I'm also moving to a new apartment today. There's sure to be some heavy lifting involved.
And yes, beer was the challenge this weekend... I think I had about 12 Friday night and perhaps just more than 20 on Sunday. But it was parade weekend and it comes but once a year :)
Just go all the way down, for the love of all things holy. All the way down...hell, go until you can't go down any more. Don't worry about the knees, you'll be fine.
Good luck
So much so that I'm actually gimping around the office because I haven't done squats since I was a freshman in high school. It's a split routine that has 4 different sessions including triceps/shoulders, back, legs and biceps/chest.
The machines simply don't provide the burn that you get from working with free weights, but it's kind of exciting in a way because the burn lets me know that I'm making progress.
Onward, forward.
---ellipticals suck, try the stairmaster (and I'm talking about the revolving stairs, not the stepping kind)
In terms of daily weighing, I just do that because I like the constant feedback and it keeps me in check. Taking the last week off from the gym could have also led to poor eating choices, but since I monitor daily I have more incentive to keep on track.
Have you gotten a chance to give the Stronglifts 5X5 a go?
Your weight chart looks like it really wants to drop! Have you started w/ the BF% measurements yet?
and what the F was up with all the elliptical machines being taken this morning? that about broke my heart.
it was nice seeing you too.....hopefully we'll see each other more there. for both our sakes.
Plus, I've started to drink at least 24oz. of Iced Green Tea everyday from Starbucks. There isn't many days that make me want coffee after that.
I think that it might be a part of the reason why I've been so blue this week. I hate this stupid day.
*rant over*
I set a realistic goal...of my birthday in July.
so far so good....starting to actually physically see the difference and a lot of comments from friends and family.
it's pretty spectacular.
1500 calorie workout
AND WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for saying that...I needed somebody to tell me to go work out
Gotta love half days on Fridays
*sigh*
I fall off the bandwagon far too much for my liking. I really need to commit to my diet more...
I didn't even DRINK.
i'll tell you what it was.... my ROOMMATE talked me into Shoguns. she did. and i knew the whole time i ate that i wouldn't be happy later. *sigh*. but it was SO good.
What does your workout routine usually consist of?
i heard this theory from this personal trainer I bumped into at the gym.
he said to work out in the morning (within an hour from getting up in the morning) to get at least 20 min cardio with an empty stomach to burn up stored fat... I'm basing my wo routine on that. He was pretty credible considering that he was cut and was actually a certified trainer. Good Luck! thanks for the add.
